Tariq Khan

Tariq Khan, a co-founder of BIMCENT, is a highly experienced and accomplished construction professional with over 25 years of experience in the U.S. construction industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan and Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA respectively. He is also a Chartered Surveyor with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and a Certified General Contractor in the State of Florida.

Tariq has been involved in the design and construction of over 1,000 projects throughout his career, ranging from multi-family residential homes to large commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings and plants. He has a proven track record of success in delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Tariq is a highly skilled and knowledgeable construction professional with a strong understanding of the entire construction process. He is also a highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a proven ability to lead and manage complex projects.

Tariq is a mentor and has trained many engineers and construction industry professionals in his career. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience with others and helping them to achieve their goals.

As BIMCENT’s co-founder, Tariq is passionate about using Building Information Modeling (BIM) for effective solutions in the construction industry. He is focused on making BIMCENT a leader in Virtual Design and Construction solutions the world over.

Mazhar Mahtab Ahmad

Mazhar Mahtab Ahmad is one of the founder member of BIMCENT. Mr Mazhar Mahtab Ahmad an accomplished graduate engineer hailing from UET Lahore, Pakistan. With a vast experience of construction and also having a good experience in new technologies, latest software, and construction techniques, he possesses the unique ability to seamlessly translate his expertise from theory to practical implementation in the field of design and construction.

He carried many small and large scale construction projects in Pakistan. Notably, as CEO of a prominent construction organization, he has led several monumental projects, leaving an indelible mark on the landscape of Pakistan's infrastructure. These include the Pakistan Kidney and Liver Institute, a state-of-the-art hospital, the Lahore Metro Line Project (elevated portion), featuring precast transoms and girders, and the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus Project, encompassing both elevated and underground sections. His contributions to the Orange Line Metro Train Project were substantial.

As innovative engineering solution and technology introducer in the country, he has been instrumental in delivering top-notch engineering solutions to clients. He has been at the forefront of technological advancements in Pakistan, introducing ground-breaking innovations and spearheading significant projects. Pioneer in introducing NDT Equipment and tools for design and evaluation of Pavement e.g. Laser profilers, GPRs, DGPS surveys HWD equipment etc. Also provided engineering solution to introduce new technologies replacing the conventional construction techniques e.g. stabilization of soil with Geosynthetics, micro overlays. Protective coatings and membranes for wastewater conduits etc.

Shahzad Ayub

(A Visionary Civil Engineer Shaping Pakistan's Infrastructure)

Shahzad Ayub is a visionary civil engineer who has left his mark on Pakistan’s infrastructure landscape. He is a serial entrepreneur who has started and managed design consulting and construction companies. As a co-founder of BIMCENT, he has embarked on yet another venture that will improve the way design and construction services are delivered around the world.

With a passion for engineering and an unwavering commitment to excellence, Shahzad Ayub has established himself as a prominent figure in the field of Civil Engineering in Pakistan. After completing his degree in Civil Engineering in 1997, Shahzad embarked on a remarkable journey that would shape the nation's infrastructure and leave an indelible mark on the industry.

After graduation, Shahzad gained invaluable experience by working on a public road rehabilitation project for six months. This initial foray into the world of engineering allowed him to understand the intricacies of large-scale projects and further fueled his ambition to make a significant impact in the field.

Seeking to expand his horizons, Shahzad joined a prestigious structural design office, where he honed his skills and deepened his knowledge of complex engineering solutions. Over the course of two years, he worked on various projects, contributing to the design of multi-story buildings, industrial facilities, and housing schemes.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit and a desire to shape the industry in his own vision, Shahzad took a leap of faith in 1999 and established his own structural design firm, aptly named Shahzad Ayub Associates. With a team of dedicated professionals, he embarked on a mission to revolutionize the engineering landscape in Pakistan.

Under his leadership, Shahzad Ayub Associates undertook a multitude of challenging projects, showcasing their expertise in structural design. They successfully completed the design of a housing scheme consisting of 527 houses of varying sizes, demonstrating their ability to tackle complex residential projects with precision.

Additionally, Shahzad's firm excelled in the design of multi-story buildings, pushing the boundaries with structures reaching up to 20 stories high. Their innovative approach to structural engineering played a pivotal role in shaping the skyline of Pakistan's urban centers.

Recognizing the importance of industrial development, Shahzad Ayub Associates took on the design of various industrial buildings, including milk plants, beverages factories, medical devices facilities, and football factories. Their expertise in this sector ensured the safe and efficient functioning of these vital industrial spaces.

Moreover, Shahzad and his team demonstrated their proficiency in telecommunication infrastructure by undertaking the design of telecommunication rooftop and greenfield towers ranging from 6 to 60 meters in height. They also provided structural design for allied site facilities associated with telecommunication towers, ensuring the seamless integration of these structures into their surroundings. He was design partner of Nokia, AlanDick & NoviaCom in Pakistan for telecommunication Projects.

In 2013, Shahzad's entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish Elite Engineering Private Limited, an engineering, procurement, and construction company, in partnership with a friend. Through this venture, he embarked on ambitious projects, completing numerous oil storage facilities across Pakistan, ranging from 2000 to 85000 tons in capacity. Additionally, Shahzad established a signage fabrication facility for petrol stations and successfully completed signages for over 1000 stations nationwide.

Demonstrating his commitment to innovation and vertical integration, Shahzad Ayub set up a 10-acre steel fabrication facility for oil storage tanks, steel buildings, and other civil field works. This facility further solidified his position as a turnkey solutions provider, overseeing the construction of 35 petrol stations from design to completion.
